Alleged rape in 'Priory Ruins' in Haverfordwest is investigated by police

Police are investigating an allegation of rape in Haverfordwest.

Dyfed-Powys Police have launched an appeal following the alleged attack in an area of Haverfordwest known as the Priory Ruins, sometime between 3am and 5.15am on Monday, April 22.

Detective Chief Inspector Jayne Butler said: “We are treating this extremely seriously. The victim is receiving specialist support.

“We know that a lot of people were out in Haverfordwest and we are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the specified time to contact us as they may have information that could help the investigation.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact Haverfordwest Police Station by calling 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
