The family of Tasmanian woman Ellie Price, who was allegedly murdered in Melbourne two months ago, have farewelled her at a funeral service in Hobart, telling mourners they will never get over her death.
The 26-year-old was found dead in her South Melbourne apartment in May.
Ricardo Barbaro, 33, has been charged with her murder.
Outside the funeral, Ms Price's mother Tracey Gangell said her daughter had touched the hearts of everyone she had met.
"She used to walk into a room and everyone would just stop and sort of look at her, she'd just light up room," Ms Gangell said.
"She was a beautiful, bubbly girl who loved life, lived to the fullest, and every day she made it count.
"She always cared for others, she had a heart of gold."
Ms Gangell said Ms Price was dedicated to her four-year-old son, Mostafa.
"She lived for Mossie, she just did everything she possibly could to make him happy," she said.
Ms Price's friends and family wore pink to the funeral, her favourite colour, to match her casket.
A montage of photos was played showing Ms Price with her son, friends and family at home and on holiday.
Funeral celebrant Lorna Long put Ms Gangell's grief into words.
"I've lost my baby girl and all my hopes and dreams," she said, reading from a eulogy Ms Gangell had written.
"My family and I will never get over this."
Ms Price's brother Dylan Taylor said he would never forget his "big" little sister.
"I'll miss having drinks together and all of our laughs," he said.
"I wish I could clean up after you just one more time or even have one more argument just so I can hear your voice."
Ms Price was buried at Sorell, north-east of Hobart.
Ricardo Barbaro faced the Melbourne Magistrates Court in May and has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance in September.
