Allan has shared a touching farewell to Napoli after completing his move to Everton.
The Brazilian midfielder has moved to Goodison Park from Napoli for a fee believed to be around £20m, penning a three-year contract.
Allan made more than 200 appearances for Napoli in his five years with the club after joining from Udinese in 2015.
The 29-year-old signed off his time at Napoli by winning the Coppa Italia last season and, posting on Instagram, he said it was a fitting way to end what was a special time in his career.
Thanking fans for their support, the 2019 Coppa America winner with Brazil also said he was grateful to Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis for his time at the club.
He said: "For me and my family it has been a fantastic five years: my children speak, think and dream in Neapolitan.
"I am therefore grateful to President De Laurentiis who gave me the opportunity to wear a glorious jersey.
"In this club I grew up as a professional and a man and I was able to work with coaches and professionals to whom I will always have to be grateful.I was lucky to find, on my path, teammates who were brothers.
"The last season was difficult.
"But winning the Coppa Italia was the best way, the fairest, to close a story of which I felt like a protagonist.
"A special thanks to the fans: it has been a privilege and a pride to be their “Neapolitan Mastiff” in recent years
"To them, my biggest hug."
