Allan Saint-Maximin returns as Newcastle supporters urge Eddie Howe to make two key changes

Newcastle United head to Elland Road today in the rare position of looking to bounce back from a defeat, with just four games of the season remaining. The 2-0 setback against Arsenal last weekend was no poor performance, however, with fine margins settling the top-four battle at St James' Park.

Eddie Howe is not usually one to make big changes to his starting line-up, and it's unlikely he will do so against Leeds United in today's Premier League encounter, although he does have options up front if he wants to shuffle his pack. And that's exactly what Newcastle fans have suggested he does.

Howe started both Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak against Arsenal, but fans have decided to play Isak as a central striker and bring Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron back into the starting line-up. That means Wilson and Jacob Murphy drop to the bench in the only two changes you want to see from last week.

It's the familiar back four with Dan Burn keeping his place at left-back ahead of Matt Targett, and with Sean Longstaff still out injured, the midfield trio of Bruno Guimaraes, Joelinton and Joe Willock are set to continue.

NEWCASTLE UNITED FANS XI vs Leeds: Pope; Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn; Guimaraes, Joelinton, Willock; Almuron, Saint-Maximin, Isak.
