Allan McGregor admits the right decision was reached to rule out Djeidi Gassama's goal at Ibrox tonight.
As Rangers chased a route back into the Champions League play-off tie against Club Brugge, the winger looked to have pulled a second goal back late in the game at Ibrox.
The attacker produce a lovely bit of individual skill to beat his marker, darting into the box close to the byline before his initial shot broke for him to to another pop at goal, with the ball finding the net at the second time of asking.
However, Brugge goalkeeper Simon Mignolet immediately flagged to the referee that he felt he was in control of the ball when Gassama challenged him.
The goal was initially awarded, however, after VAR advised Francois Letexier to check the pitchside monitor, the goal was overturned, and the score remained 3-1 to the visitors - who were three goals to the good inside 20 minutes before Danilo pulled one back after the break.

"You can see there that he [Mignolet] does have both hands on the ball."
Fellow pundit Scott Arfield added: "I agree. Obviously Allan doesn't want to give that answer, but he's also a member of the goalie's union, so he has to stuck up for them.
"You have to say he's got the two hands on the ball. It is a bit soft but he is in control.
"Its one of those where if it's for you, you're delighted, but if not you feel aggrieved."
Russell Martin delivered his reaction to the incident in his post-match interview.
He said: "I don't know if Gass touched it first or not.
"My only issue is with VAR. They decided to show the referee a still image first.
"I think at that point it's game over, because he sees the still of the ball within his hands, so, I don't know why that happens. Apart from that, it is what it is."
