Allan McGregor's hilarious humble Rangers reaction to incredible Slavia Prague save

Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor produced one of the best saves European football has seen - then shrugged it off as if it was another routine stop.

The veteran goalkeeper has had his fair share of world class saves in European competition, having also made a similarly brilliant one in the run to the 2008 final against Werder Bremen.

McGregor got down low to his left to claw away a header that looked certain to be hitting the back of the net, and even managed to hold onto it.

But he didn't seem overly fussed by what he did and was just happy that he kept the scores level in Prague, meaning Rangers take a 1-1 draw and an away goal back to Ibrox next week.

He said: "A wee bit late. It’s just one of these things, you react to it, stick your hand out and hope it doesn’t go in.

"It never. Happy days."

At this stage of the Europa League, you would expect Steven Gerrard's players to be delighted with the result heading back to Glasgow, but McGregor made it clear that he would decide on that after next week's game.

When asked, he responded: "Time will tell. I’ll tell you next Thursday if we’re happy with it or not.

"After the start of the game I thought we done well to come back in. We created some good chances and got a good goal and all round played better."
