Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor admits he wishes he knew what was behind the incredible run of form that has seen his side go 23 games unbeaten.
And he joked that he would have told his team-mates exactly what to do in January if he had any understanding of what was behind it.
The Ibrox side have struggled following the winter break for the last two seasons but many feel there's a different side to them this year, with 23 games unbeaten in all competitions since the start of the campaign.
And McGregor was asked what has made such a difference to Rangers this season and the veteran goalkeeper was quick to confirm he doesn't really know.
But he's praised Steven Gerrard's side for the performances they've put in over the course of the season so far, which sees them top of the Premiership, top of their Europa League group and into the quarter final of the Betfred Cup.
He said: "Nae idea.
"If I knew that I'd have told them in January and the January before that as well!
"I've no idea.
"I don't think you can put your finger on it basically all it is, is results. If you keep winning that's what gives you consistency and that's what changes people's view.
"That's the only way I can answer that question, if I knew that I'd be the best manager in the world."
