All you need to know about real-life escape game company opening up in Bridgend

A  popular real-life escape game which requires players to solve hidden puzzles and get out of a locked room in just 60 minutes is coming to Bridgend.

Adventure Rooms Wales received planning permission earlier this year to change the use of the ground floor of a building in Caroline Street from retail to leisure.

Work is now taking place on the building in preparation for its opening.

Adventure Rooms Wales opened a similar escape rooms experience in Cardiff in 2016.

The company said the ground floor of the building would be used to entertain groups of between two and six people in a room as they try to solve puzzles to find their way out.

It will create two full-time jobs and four part-time roles.

The premises will have a maximum of four rooms with opening hours running from 10am to 10pm.

People have to race against the clock, using a range of objects, codes, and hints to make it out in time.

The company said it hoped to open the Bridgend Adventure Rooms in the early Autumn.
