With Christmas trees and pudding often comes the most dreaded bug of the season - norovirus.
Very contagious, this bug can be caught very easily, either by coming in close contact with an infected person or touching objects that are contaminated.
Furthermore, if you eat food that has been prepared by somebody infected, you are also at risk of contamination.
But how do you know if this nasty winter bug has decided to make your body its home?
Symptoms usually vanish over in two days.
However, to prevent the bug spreading, don’t go back to work or school until 48 hour after symptoms have cleared.
