Wuyang is Overwatch 2's 12th support hero, bringing his mastery of water technology to the battlefield as a healer and knockdown disruptor.
Studying at Wuxing University's water college, Wuyang has mastered the ability to condense the air around him to create water that both heals allies and hurts enemies, making him a unique healer on the roster.

Wuyang uses his Xuanwu Staff to fire water orbs, with up to 20 before having to reload. He can also hold down the fire button to control the trajectory of the orbs, empowering it with an area-of-effect explosion to deal some more damage.
Restorative Stream is a passive heal that he can place on an ally and let them do their thing while healing them from afar, similarly to Zenyatta's orb, but he can also hold the button down to heal them more quickly, with a resource meter that needs to recharge.
Guardian Wave is a crucial ability for Wuyang, as it increases healing for allies but also knocks back enemies, which will make it important for teamfights. Rushing Torrent is his movement tech, giving him a speed boost and the ability to jump to high ledges.
Wuyang's ultimate, Tidal Blast, has a casting animation before he places it either on himself or an ally. When triggered, the character is protected by water and granted a large amount of overhealth. After a few seconds, it explodes, knocking down nearby enemies and also giving a huge burst of healing to the host.
Basically, it turns the target into a bit of a ticking time bomb with Reinhardt Earthshatter-like knockdown capabilities, along with some healing to keep them in the fight afterwards to finish the battle.

OW2 fans can get their first taste of Wuyang during his hero trial from Aug. 14 to 18, but he becomes fully playable alongside season 18 on Aug. 26.
