It's no secret that many female gym-goers often feel intimidated by men while they're working out and with increasing reports of women finding themselves being filmed or photographed by the opposite sex, it's not hard to see why.
However, one gym has come up with a way to dispel that intimidation by creating an all-female gym, complete with tinted windows, locked doors and even free sanitary products.
Waitress Heather Huesman shared her experience of Blush Fitness, which is located in Overland Park, Kansas, describing it as "the BEST gym!"
The gym has tinted windows so no one can look in on people working out and it has locks on all the doors which mean that only members - who, of course, are all female - can get in.

On top of that, the ladies' gym, which is open 24/7, alerts users when any male staff members are on shift, as well as providing free sanitary products for all members.
It also offers free babysitting, runs social wine nights for members and customers have raved about it in reviews online.
"We need these everywhere, we feel so safe and comfortable going to the gym, gonna be my new favourite spot," Heather wrote.
One TikTok user commented: "I would feel so much safer using a machine wrong as I'm a beginner. I would feel less judged and much more comfortable asking for help."

"This is fantastic for Muslim women too," another commented.
However, the post didn't go down well with everyone, with many men commenting to describe the all-female gym as 'segregation' and 'sexist.'
"Didn't we stop segregation like 60 years ago," one user commented, while another added: "This doesn't sound like equality to me!"
"Strong independent women shouldn't need another gym," a third wrote.
Unsurprisingly, however, women quickly flocked to the comments section to defend the gym, with one writing: "Not the men being pressed because they can't harass women anymore."
