TV presenter Matt Doran has gone from being Channel 7's 'golden boy' to being off the air after allegedly 'offending' Adele by failing to listen to her album before their exclusive interview two weeks ago.
The Aussie presenter, 37, has found himself on the other side of the news agenda after the unfortunate 'car crash' interview last month.
But what do we know about the broadcaster? Here, we take a look at his credentials ahead of his career-defining omission during Adele's interview.
Matt is a well-known Australian journalist who co-presents Channel 7's Weekend Sunrise show with Monique Wright, having previously worked for the network's flagship public affairs program, Sunday Night and as a reporter and presenter at Network Ten.

Until the Adele interview, Matt was said to be a 'network favourite' who was being 'groomed as successor' on Seven's flagship Sunrise program and expected to succeed David 'Kochie' Koch.
He is now back on air after a 'week's leave' following the Adele Interview debacle.
The presenter has spoken up to 'apologise' for the blunder, which could go someway towards repairing the damage to his reputation.

The ill-fated interview occurred last month when Matt flew to London and sat down with the Hello hitmaker for a '20-30 minute' interview, during which it's said he did not 'ask a single question about the new album'.
When asked by Adele what he thought of her 30 album, Matt allegedly admitted he had not listened to it.
The presenter's shameful omission is said to have been enough to send the Hello singer walking out of the interview.
But he has since clarified: “Adele didn’t storm out.
“In fact, it was the polar opposite. What was meant to be 20 minutes was extended to 29 minutes."
The network allegedly spent $1million on the ill-fated interview, plus her sit-down with Oprah Winfrey and footage from her One Night Only concert.
Matt has since told the Australian he was “totally unaware” he was in possession of her album, a couple of weeks after his trip to London for the exclusive interview with Adele.
He added: “It was an oversight but not a deliberate snub,” he said. “This is the most important email I have ever missed.”

He went on to tell the title he was 'mortified and unequivocally apologetic' to the English singer for being so unprepared.
He has since explained how he missed the preview of the hit-makers then unreleased album 30.
''When I sat down to interview Adele, I was totally unaware that I'd been emailed a preview of her unreleased album," he said.
But making light of the situation Matt's co-host Kylie Gillies has taken to mocking the mishap.
Kylie asked Matt on-air: “With [the new album] being called 30, we've been asking in droves - how old is Adele? It's only right we should ask Australia's biggest Adele fan, Matt Doran…”
And Matt joked in response: “I am a monstrous fan, Kylie.”
