There was a crazy day of Saturday first grade sports action across Canberra with send-offs, a soccer shoulder charge and some incredible try highlights.
Canberra Olympic had a player given two yellow cards and then red in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Queanbeyan City.
In the 53rd minute with the score 1-1 an Olympic player tried to get on the end of a long ball sent into the area and in a shoulder-to-shoulder challenge with a City defender, went to ground. But the referee shocked Olympic as he made no hesitation in calling a foul against the attacking player.
City took advantage and extended their lead later in the second half, however Olympic scored an equaliser with a cracking set piece shot on goal to level late.
In another NPL men's match there was a manic period of injury time in Canberra White Eagles' 2-1 win with more red cards.
In the 92nd minute, right after a Brindabella Blues goal, Isaac Weekley was making a run down the right wing when he was tackled by White Eagles' Damien Mckellar.
Weekley did not appreciate the slide tackle and immediately got up and shoulder-charged his opponent, flooring Mckellar and inciting a bit of a push and shove between the teams.
A red card was shown to a member of Blues staff and Mckellar after the dust settled, and a yellow was given to Weekley.
Wests scored a super intercept try in the Women's Premier XVs match against Tuggeranong Vikings, as they went on to win 22-17.
Meanwhile, Gungahlin Eagles put up 84 points against Canberra Royals which included an impressive performance with the boot by Olivia Scott who made 12 from 12 conversions.

Yass Magpies had a rough day at the office against the Belconnen Sharks in the Canberra Raiders Cup.
Yass copped a 40-6 loss at Bruce with their backs against the wall after back-rower Lane Davis was sent off by the referee in the early stages of the second half for a "deliberate trip" while he tried to stop a kick-chase.
Gungahlin Bulls also struggled to mount a comeback in the second half when Harvey Mahoney was sin-binned having kicked out at a Queanbeyan Kangaroos player after a tackle. The Bulls lost 30-18.
Eliza Taylor finished a great team effort to score the first try for the Sharks in their Katrina Fanning Shield clash against Yass and went on to add four more for the day as her team won 58-4.
The Raiders NRLW prospect plays for Belconnen and in the Tarsha Gale Cup for the Green Machine and has been on fire this season. Taylor is the competition's leading try-scorer and is third on the top points scorer leaderboard.
Meanwhile, the Woden Valley Rams defeated Tuggeranong 18-6 in the early KFS match.
