You must book before using any of the leisure services and pay for your session before arriving.
Sessions and classes can be booked by phoning 0151 606 2010 from tomorrow. Anyone wanting to reinstate an Invigor8 membership should call the same number or email bookingsandinformation@wirral.gov.uk.
Customers are warned that this could take up to three-five working days depending on demand.
Councillor Tom Anderson, chair of Wirral Council’s tourism and leisure committee, said: “For many, exercise is a way to maintain physical and mental health.
“Being able to reopen gyms and other leisure facilities means that people can get back into enjoying the sports and activities they’ve missed.”
Outdoor facilities are set to reopen to the public at The Oval in Bebington during the week beginning December 14.
However, some centres will remain closed in the short-term as they are being used to deal with the pandemic.
This includes the indoor leisure facilities at Leasowe, The Oval and Woodchurch.
Strict safety measures will be in place at leisure sites across the borough to keep people as safe as possible.
