All the ways you can travel in Nottingham today as tram workers strike over pay

The tram strike across Nottingham today will affect how people travel to and from places.

Due to industrial action by the GMB union, NET Tram is unable to operate any services on Saturday, November 6. Services will resume from 6am Sunday, November 7.

Tram tickets will be accepted on Trent Barton’s Rainbow One, Threes and Indigo buses as well as all Nottingham City Transport services throughout today.

Nottingham City Transport buses will be operating as usual - meaning people can use the buses in the city centre as an alternative to the tram.

Trent Barton buses will be accepting tram tickets until 4am Sunday November 7.

Wind e-scooters are also available for people travelling shorter distances - if you are over 16 with a provisional license.

Commuters can still park up at the Forest Recreation Ground for free and take a 15 minute walk into town instead of catching the tram.

The complimentary shuttle bus for the Nottingham Forest match will operate as normal from outside Nottingham Station before and after the game.
