All the stalls on Oldham's Tommyfield Market staying open in Tier 4

Non-essential shops have been forced to close as Oldham begins the new year in Tier 4.

But more than 30 stalls on Tommyfield Market are still trading

Several food outlets and other stalls will also be offering takeaways and click and collect services.

But while the current restrictions are in place the market will be operating slightly reduced opening hours, from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Saturday.

Shoppers using click and collect for stalls such as phone repairs and school clothes are advised to check details online.

A post on the market's Facebook page said: "Thanks for your support of your local business in Oldham.

"Keep safe, see you all soon."
