All the shops and restaurants reopening in Cabot Circus this weekend

This upcoming weekend has been dubbed 'Super Saturday' as the hospitality industry has been given the green light to reopen by the government.

This means that pubs, restaurants, bars, cinemas and much more will be able to reopen with strict new measures in place.

And this means that more eateries will be able to reopen in one of our city's shopping malls, Cabot Circus.

Cabot Circus have today (July 3) confirmed which branches will be reopening across the Mall on Saturday (July 4) and on Monday (July 6).

Some shops have been open since June 15 when the government allowed non-essential retail shops to open up once again and these include Victoria's Secret, Zara, JD Sport's and H&M.

Now, many more restaurants and cafes at the shopping centre have been given the go-ahead to reopen again tomorrow (July 4).

The all you can eat restaurant L'Osteria will be opening tomorrow, whilst Coal Kitchen is due to open on July 6 as well as restaurant TGI Friday's.

The following restaurants are already currently open for takeaway or delivery in Cabot Circus: GBK, Five Guys, Tortilla, KFC, Slim Chickens and Nando’s.

When is the best time to visit Cabot?

After closely monitoring footfall at the destination over the past few weeks, Cabot Circus is also able to provide guidance to customers on the best times to visit the destination to beat the queues. Where possible, customers are advised to visit the centre at the following times:

  • Monday – Friday is quieter than weekends
  • Before midday
  • After 4pm

What measures have been introduced to keep the centre safe?

The safety and wellbeing of its customers, colleagues, and retailers remains Cabot Circus’ number one priority. As a reminder, it has introduced a range of measures to keep people safe. These include:

  • Introduction of one-way system to help customers safely navigate the centre
  • Clear signage throughout the destination reminding consumers of the need to follow social distancing guidance, and to avoid shopping in large groups
  • Enhanced cleaning processes, with a clear focus on key customer touch points
  • Installation of fixed hand sanitiser stations throughout the area
  • Live monitoring of footfall to ensure there aren’t too many people in the centre at any one time
  • Using the centre’s communication channels including social media, digital in-mall displays and tannoy announcements to remind visitors about how to stay safe
  • Introduction of queuing outside Cabot Circus when required to manage capacity
  • Customers will be encouraged to use contactless payment with retailers for transactions
