The wonderful River of Light fireworks extravaganza will take place this Sunday and a number of roads will be closed.
Roads on both sides of the River Mersey will be in closed in order to allow the event to take place safely.
The River of Light display will start at 6.30pm on November 3 and organisers have encouraged the public to get into town nice and early to check out the light installations before the show.
On the Liverpool side the viewing areas for the River of Light fireworks event are Riverside Walkway, Pier Head, with secondary viewing at Kings Parade, near to the Arena and Convention Centre.
On the Wirral side, the fireworks will be set off from the water’s edge in New Brighton and a soundtrack, which has been specially-designed for the display, will be played along the waterfront.

Here are all the road closures that will be in place:
Wirral road closures
Marine Promenade will be closed to traffic all day on Sunday, November 3.
There will also be parking restrictions in place around residential streets.
Liverpool road closures:
Pier Head: 8am until 8pm
There will be a number of road closures including Canada Boulevard, Brunswick Street, Water Street and St Nicholas Place.
Mann Island will be closed at the Georges Dock Way junction.
For residents and businesses based in the Mann Island development access will remain throughout.
Residents and businesses that need vehicle access are asked to avoid the area between 5.30pm and 7.30pm as long delays are likely.
Mann Island residents can access the underground car park from Georges Dockway until 4.30pm.
After this time they will need to gain entry via James Street.
The Strand, Goree and Strand Street: 5pm until 8pm
For the safe entry and departure of the public attending it will be necessary to close The Strand/Goree and Strand Street between Liver Street and Leeds Street between from 5pm to 8pm.
To allow this to happen it will be necessary to place restrictions on:
Chapel Street, Water Street, Brunswick Street (city side) and James Street.
Access will be maintained and signposted to Liverpool ONE car park and residents from James Street.
Albert Dock/Gower Street: 5pm until 8pm
Albert Dock entrance and Gower Street will be closed between 5pm to 8pm.
Gower Street will stay open until the car parks are full.
Providing it is safe to do so, access for businesses and residents will be maintained via Gower Street.
Kings Parade/Mariners Wharf/Marina/Yacht Club: 5pm to 8pm
For residents located on Kings Parade or Mariners Wharf, Marina and Yacht Club it is necessary to use the diversion from Sefton Street, Chaloner Street, Queens Wharf, Half Tide Wharf, Kings Parade, Mariners Wharf.
Mariners Wharf is being used as an exit only.
Princes Parade: 5pm until 8pm
Princes Parade will be closed from the junction of William Jessop Way and up to St Nicholas Place.
As long as it is safe, access for businesses and residents will be allowed.
William Jessop Way will remain open at the time.
Isle of Man Sailings
Vehicles that need access to the Isle of Man Ferry will be signposted from both north and south of the city centre to approach the ferry check in area from Chapel Street.
