Key workers across Liverpool are being encouraged to remain vigilant about coronavirus and ensuring they get tested regularly.
While mass testing is not currently being targeted at the wider population because of lockdown, people who still need to leave their homes regularly for work can still use the testing centres.
These are workers who cannot work from home and also have physical contact with other people as part of their job. They include:
- NHS and care workers
- school staff
- supermarket employees
- delivery drivers
- factory workers
- transport workers
While mass symptom free testing for the wider population is currently not being encouraged, those who do have symptoms are obviously encouraged to seek a test as soon as possible.
A test for those with symptoms can be booked through the NHS website and this will provide you with appointment times and locations based on your home postcode.
