All the places in Nottinghamshire with coronavirus rates lower than the national average

Communities across Nottinghamshire are now reporting substantial falls in coronavirus rates, new data shows.

According to the Government's coronavirus map, 19 areas of Nottinghamshire have lower rates than England's average.

Data for the seven days to February 20 show these areas had a rate lower than England's average, which is 116 cases per 100,000 people.

Bingham has the lowest rate per 100,000 in the county at 29.4, followed by University Park, Lenton Abbey and Jubilee Campus at 36.3 cases per 100,000.

By contrast, Clifton South has the highest rates in the county at 513.7 with 31 cases confirmed in a week according to the Public Health England data.

  • Bingham (29.4)

  • Lenton and Dunkirk (82.5)

  • Stapleford North (77.3)
  • Wollaton Park (56.9)
  • University Park, Lenton Abbey and Jubilee Campus (36.3)
  • City Centre and Trent Bridge (81.5)
  • St Ann's West (93.4)
  • Arboretum, Forest and Trent University (84.5)
  • Burton Joyce and Lambley (48.2)
  • Ravenshead and Newstead (84.4)
  • Southwell (81.2)
  • Lowdham, Bleasby and Gunthorpe (73.5)
