All the places in Manchester staying open late on Sunday to show the Super Bowl

The curtain closer to another season of American Football is just around the corner. The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 12.

Despite being very much an American thing, the popularity of the hand-egg sports has grown in strength over the years. Yes, watching the game for fans this side of the world will mean going to bed at ridiculous o’clock but that’s all apart of the fun, plus you get to watch Rihanna make a return to the stage during the half time show.

With the game just around the corner now, we have put together a list of 10 places in the city you can watch the game and enjoy some delicious food and drinks to boot.

Brickhouse Social

Looking to have a good time but not at the expense of your wallet? Then the Brickhouse Social is just the place for you. Tickets are free for the New Wakefield Street bar which promises to feature red zone commentary, DJs, and free pool.

If you’re looking for something new then why not try out the latest sports bar in Printworks. The venue will be showing the game on what they call the ‘biggest screen in Manchester’. They even have a VIP Package which will come with two drinks vouchers, unlimited popcorn and a choice of burger or hot dog.

The Brotherhood

A stylish sports bar that mixes the best of Britain and our cousins across the pond. This stylish yet homely spot on Mount Street could be the place to be this Sunday.

The Shack Bar and Grill

The Shack Bar and Grill in the Northern Quarter is going all out for the Super Bowl. They will have a special Super Bowl menu on offer and if that hasn’t enticed you yet then head over to their Instagram page to take a look at the mouth watering hotdogs, wings and burgers that you could be tucking into during the game.

Bierkeller Printworks

There’s plenty of spots to watch the game at the Printworks. The American sports bar will probably the busiest place in town and for good reason.

GRUB

Grub will be showing the game on their cinema screen from 8pm. Each ticket for the street food spot in Cheetham Hill will come with a choice of chicken wings or vegan cauliflower wings and a drink of your choice.

Bunny Jackson’s

American Football and 25p chicken wings is all you need to know about this American themed dive bar. Found on Rosenthal Street opposite HOME, Bunny Jackson’s isn’t taking any bookings so get there nice and early.

The Blues Kitchen

The popular music venue will be showing the game on their big screen from 9pm. The kitchen will also be open until well into the early hours of the morning.
