All is not lost for Nottingham Forest as they continue to battle for promotion to the Premier League despite yesterday's 2-1 defeat at Birmingham City.
With Leeds United losing and West Bromwich Albion, Fulham and Brentford winning Forest passed up a chance to turn up the heat on the three teams above them.
Leeds, who sit in second place, are four points ahead of the Reds with 55 and that gap could close when the two sides meet for a blockbuster clash at the City Ground on Saturday (5.30pm).
Equally, that gap could extend to seven points with 15 games left.
The stakes are high and, Reds fans are in high spirits especially when taking into account where the club was this time last season; their promotion charge faltering under former boss Martin O'Neill.
