All the jobs you can apply for at Liverpool Council - with salaries up to £44k a year

If you’re looking for work in Merseyside you might be in luck as there are 27 jobs available at Liverpool City Council.

The council currently has a range of roles across its many departments, with a wide variation in the types of jobs as well as their salaries.

Several of the vacancies are in social work, helping some of the city’s most vulnerable children and young people.

There are five vacancies for social workers in the council’s children’s and adult services teams, with the salaries standing between £33,000 and £38,000 per year.

The jobs are in a range of teams, with some requiring expertise on specific issues such as child exploitation, early help and supporting adolescents.

In addition, there are a range of other roles in the council’s adult services team.

Two roles involve working to support the Safeguarding Adults Board, with a more senior role offering a salary starting at just under £44,000 and a junior role offering pay of around £29,000 a year.

There are also vacancies for an occupational therapy team leader and a private sector liaison officer.

In children’s services, key roles including as a SEND employment support officer and a family liaison officer are currently on offer.

If your skills are more suited to town planning or construction management, there is also a vacancy in the council’s planning department.

As a building control officer you would be responsible for ensuring safety standards in developments in the city, with the job offering a minimum salary of just under £34,000.

Finally, there are a range of roles sitting within the council’s IT and administration teams, including for personal assistants and a digital and social media officer.
