All the hidden details and easter eggs in T1’s Worlds 2025 championship skins

T1’s Worlds 2025 Championship skins have far more flashy visual effects than normal skins. Every champion includes references to the players’ personalities, iconic career moments, inside jokes, and even famous plays that only longtime esports fans will immediately recognize.

Every T1 skin is built around the Ascended Warriors theme. The collection reimagines the roster as legendary champions who have risen to the pinnacle of League of Legends, with recurring design elements like wings, ornate gold armor, celestial effects, and regal silhouettes.

From Gumayusi’s unforgettable Baron steal to Keria’s emotional Worlds celebration, here’s every hidden detail and easter egg behind the creation of the T1 Worlds 2025 skins.

Doran’s Ambessa honors his Krug Lord meme

After the skin quiz, where the League community heavily voted for Ambessa to become Doran’s first champion skin in the game. Doran wanted Ambessa to look like a powerful warrior rather than simply another armored champion. He specifically requested a lion’s mane hairstyle, dark clothing, and bright red accents on Ambessa’s weapon.

One of the funniest easter eggs appears during Ambessa’s recall. She pulls the Dorans’ sword, shield, and ring, which are the starter items in the game, from the Worlds trophy before charging into battle, while a Krug watches nearby.

The Krug is a direct reference to one of Doran’s longest-running community memes, where he was known as the Krug Lord, and the developer found a way to include it without disrupting the champion’s heroic fantasy. The developer also added shoulder wings to better align with the champion. His ultimate also had a fun little easter egg where his face appeared, but it was removed with the recent update at the player’s request.

Oner’s Xin Zhao became the blueprint for the skin line

Oner kept his requests for the T1 Xin Zhao skin relatively simple, asking Riot for a jacket-style cape inspired by his way of wearing a jacket on stage and bold red weaponry to match T1’s signature colors.

Rather than adding a traditional cape, the artists created a dynamic jacket silhouette that flows dramatically during gameplay. The skin’s recall animation also serves as a tribute to Oner’s championship journey, with Xin Zhao recreating iconic moves from Lee Sin, Poppy, and Pantheon, the three champions Oner used to win his World Championships. During the feedback process, Oner also requested that the T1 team jacket appear at the end of the recall, giving the animation an extra personal touch.

Faker’s Galio celebrates six World Championships

Faker’s Galio has been one of the highest requested skins ever, and with these Worlds 2025 skins, fans finally get his Galio skin, which instantly feels like T1.

To achieve that, Riot redesigned Galio’s wings so their shape resembles the T1 logo, requiring entirely new animations. The recall animation is filled with symbolism. Six stars orbit Galio before he ascends into the sky, representing Faker’s six World Championship victories. The recall ends with the T1 logo appearing beneath him. Faker even suggested making the space backdrop larger, but Riot ultimately scaled it back to ensure the animation remained clear during gameplay. With this skin, Faker has 10 skins in the game now.

Galio’s Q ability incorporates the Summoner’s Cup into its visual effects, while one of the standout easter eggs appears in the champion’s taunt. During the animation, Galio recreates Faker’s iconic “shush” gesture, a nod to the celebration he has used in multiple cinematics to silence his critics.

Gumayusi’s Yunara tells his personal story

Gumayusi’s T1 Yunara skin was shaped by a personal connection to the champion. He partly chose Yunara after her designer, Max Perlman, remarked that she had essentially been designed around Gumayusi’s playstyle.

Wanting to lean into Yunara’s softer side, Gumayusi requested a twin-bun hairstyle from the popular Korean Pucca character and a more stylish look to emphasize her cute charm. The developer complemented those ideas by adding intricate patterns across her outfit to give the champion’s otherwise simple silhouette more visual depth.

Another easter can be found inside Yunara’s orb, where T1 mascot Ati appears with different colors. The recall animation was also entirely Gumayusi’s concept, telling a story of Yunara meditating peacefully, confronting hardship and uncertainty, and ultimately finding hope again through a butterfly and a ray of light. The butterfly is a reference to Worlds 2025, when it appeared on stage, and it was a sign of good luck for him.

Keria’s Seraphine recreates his Worlds celebration

Keria took a very different approach with his T1 Seraphine skin, asking Riot to make it cute and beautiful rather than cool or intimidating.

He also requested that Seraphine’s signature cheek marking be redesigned into a “K” shape inspired by his own initial. Riot brought those ideas to life with organically moving wings and a hairstyle that closely reflects Keria’s personal tastes. The recall animation recreates Keria performing on stage in a T1 uniform, complete with a close-up shot and jacket removal that reference his memorable celebration after Game 5 against Anyone’s Legend at Worlds 2025. To make the sequence feel more expressive, Riot’s artists reportedly hand drew between 12 and 16 frames of 2D animation specifically for the recall.

Prestige Miss Fortune is filled with Gumayusi career references

For his MVP Miss Fortune skin, Gumayusi wanted something that stood apart from every previous Worlds skin, packed with references to his career and unique features. Riot delivered by creating three interchangeable gun sets, each representing one of his three World titles from his older Worlds skins, with the weapons changing whenever Miss Fortune casts her ultimate.

The ultimate also activates a special flowing hairstyle, while the visual effects were significantly enhanced at Gumayusi’s request. The skin is filled with hidden tributes, like its good meme after tasting the croissant as the emote or his Baron steal.

Its recall animation highlights some of the most memorable moments of his career, from dodging Kalista spears against Weibo Gaming in 2023 and Ashe arrows against Bilibili Gaming in 2024, to shooting down Ziggs bombs against KT Rolster, before ending with Gumayusi raising the Worlds MVP trophy, symbolizing his journey to proving himself on League of Legends’ biggest stage.
