All The Celebrities Who Are Dragging The Folks Who Showed Face At Jeff Bezos’ $85M Wedding

A bunch of celebrities are calling out their peers for attending Jeff Bezos and Laura Sánchez‘s billion-dollar wedding in Venice, and some of these quotes are quite (rightfully) brutal.

ICYMI, Amazon overlord Jeff Bezos officially tied the knot with journalist-turned-space-cadet Lauren Sánchez in a star-studded, billion-dollar wedding late last week.

Ahead of the nuptials, residents and protestors lobbied against the billionaire bonanza, highlighting that the wedding would add to Europe’s overtourism problem as well as turn the floating city into a “private amusement park for the rich”.

As a result of the protest, Bezos moved their shindig to a more private part of the city, specifically Venice’s Arsenale, which could only be accessed via its connecting bridges.

But despite their attempts at privacy, paparazzi managed to snap some pics of the couple and their celebrity guests, which included the KarJenners, Orlando Bloom, Sydney Sweeney, Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Leonardo DiCaprio and so much more.

As more information (or as we say, tea) trickles from the billion-dollar wedding, some folks who were left off the guest list have decided to brutally roast those who showed face at the Bezos-Sánchez bonanza.

One celeb who had a shit tonne to say about the billionaire shenanigans was comedian and activist Rosie O’Donnell, who shared a scathing Instagram post calling out bestie Oprah for her appearance at the wedding.

“It turned my stomach seeing all these billionaires gathering in the gross excess of it all. The show of it,” the comedian began.

“Is Oprah friends with Jeff Besos [sic]? Really – how is that possible? He treats his employees with disdain. By any metric, he is not a nice man,” she claimed.

“And his fake fem bot wife. Who looks like that? Why would he choose her? After the salt of the earth, Mackenzie [Scott].

“Sold his soul is what it looks like from here. The devil is smiling at all his conquests.”

YEOUCH. Alongside O’Donnell, Mad Max: Fury Road star Charlize Theron also slammed Bezos’ nuptials during the fifth annual Block Party for the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project in Los Angeles on Saturday.

“I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding. But that’s OK because they suck and we’re cool,” the star shared, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Actor Olivia Munn also shaded the Bezos wedding in a cheeky Instagram comment under fellow actor, Mia Farrow‘s, post.

“How awesome is MacKenzie Scott! (Jeff Bezos first wife & mother of his four children),” Farrow wrote.

“As of mid-December 2024, she had given a total of $19.3 billion to over 1600 charitable organizations.”

In response, Munn simply wrote: “Truly incredible”.

Honestly, for a billionaire who spent  40-48 million euros (AUD$71-85 million) on a wedding rather than making the shit-hole we call earth a better place, the roast was well deserve.

Or well done, too keep up with the cooking theme…. Yeah, I’ll see myself out.
