All the best Veganuary options from McDonald's, KFC, Subway and more

Veggies can rejoice as there’s plenty of Dublin takeaways getting onboard the Veganuary movement.

You can bag yourself a vegan or vegetarian meal that tastes like the real deal in a number of popular outlets in the capital.

From pizzas, to fake chicken fillet rolls, more and more meat-free options are becoming available in Ireland.

Recent research conducted by Bord Bia has found that almost 1 in 4 (19%) people are trying a flexitarian diet that includes the combination of both meat and plant-based food.

These following outlets are providing high quality, locally sourced food to consumers so they have more delicious meat-free options.

Domino's

Domino's Pizza announced the launch of their newest Vegan Friendly pizza, the Vegan PepperoNAY. So vegans looking for more choice can order the pizza made from fresh, vegan dough with vine-ripened tomato sauce, vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni.

That’s not all as the Vegan PepperoNAY is served with the mouth-watering vegan garlic and herb dip.

All Plant-It products are fortified with Vitamin B12, Iron and Calcium, which are traditionally lacking in plant-based diets.

Applegreen also provides Vegan Sausage Rolls as well as the Falafel and Hummus wraps.

It is made from delicious strips of plant-based chicken and is made with unique tikka-inspired flavours, designed to mimic Subway’s roast chicken breast strips, and is available with slices of Violife vegan cheese.

That's not all, Subway has a wide range of plant-based options with the popular Meatless Meatball Marinara, Veggie Delite and Vegan Double Choc Cookie also available.
