Tesco shoppers have been hit with a one month warning as the retail giant makes a huge change for the first time in eight years.
The supermarket is increasing its minimum spend for online deliveries, meaning customers could have to purchase more if they want to place their orders online, or risk an extra fee.
From Tuesday, May 2, Tesco's minimum order spend for delivery will jump from £40 to £50. Meanwhile, the basket charge (fee added if your basket doesn't meet the minimum delivery price) will rise from £4 to £5.

On Click and Collect orders, the minimum basket value will remain at £25. The surcharge for baskets under £25 will be £5.
A Tesco spokesperson told the ECHO: “To ensure we can continue to serve our online customers as effectively as possible, from May 2 we are making some changes to our minimum basket threshold, the first change we are making in nearly eight years.
"For the vast majority of our customers, there will be no change to the way they shop.”
The change comes just weeks after Tesco announced its Clubcard app will close for good on April 18, as it is being replaced with a new app. After the deadline, shoppers will be able to use the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app instead.
The new app will provide Clubcard prices, and vouchers. The app will allow shoppers to collect Clubcard points and instantly turn them into vouchers, as well as create shopping lists.
Shoppers can also check their local store with what’s in stock and turn them into vouchers.
