All systems go for Mitch Trubisky vs. Saints

Quarterback Mitch Trubisky is active and will start against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at Soldier Field. Trubisky was listed as questionable with a left shoulder injury that kept him out of the Bears’ previous game against the Raiders in London.

All three players listed as questionable are active — Trubisky, defensive end Bilal Nichols and guard Ted Larsen. Nichols missed the last three games with a broken hand he suffered in Week 2 against the Broncos. Larsen missed last week’s game against the Raiders with a knee injury.

The inactive list for Sunday’s game against the Saints includes all healthy scratches: cornerback Duke Shelley, linebackers Josh Woods and Kevin Pierre-Louis, offensive lineman Alex Bars, defensive lineman Jonathan Harris, tight end Bradley Sowell and wide receiver Riley Ridley.

Defensive end Akiem Hicks (elbow) and guard Kyle Long (hip) are on injured reserve. Rashaad Coward is expected to start for Long. Roy Robertson-Harris is expected to start for Hicks.
