
The State of Play on June 4 kicked off the summer gaming season for 2025, and now the Summer Games Fest is here with Geoff Keighley as the host, with brand new announcements and updates.
We can see some of the biggest publishers showcasing their most anticipated games, as well as certain updates for ongoing live-service titles. So, I am presenting you with this live blog to see everything that’s been announced and shown at the Summer Game Fest 2025.

Summer Game Fest 2025 announcements
Geoff Keighley has finally appeared on stage, and he is highlighting the top 10 games on Steam, including indie games, such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Split Fiction, INZOI, R.E.P.O, and more.
Mortal Shell 2
Mortal Shell 2 has been announced (check the reveal trailer above) and is set to be released in 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. A beta sign-up is now available from their official website.
Fortnite Event
We got to see glimpses of the live Fortnite x Star Wars event coming on June 7, 2025.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
We got an SGF exclusive Death Stranding 2: On the Beach clip with Hideo Kojima giving a speech before that.
Chronicles: Medieval
Tom Hardy narrating a medieval strategy RPG! Chronicles: Medieval is an upcoming game from Raw Power Games where you have to “Forge your destiny.”
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds new trailer
We got a new trailer for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, where the creative officer took the stage and said the game will have crossplay. Did I forget to mention – there’s a MINECRAFT collab too, featuring Steve?
Code Vein 2
We got the reveal trailer for Code Vein 2, a sequel to 2019’s RPG. It’s coming out in 2026, and you can wishlist it now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
End of Abyss
We got the reveal trailer for End of Abyss, a top-down isometric horror game.
Mouse: P.I. for Hire
The trailer for Mouse: P.I. for Hire is here, with Troy Baker as a private investigator and lead protagonist of the game.
Game of Thrones: War for Westeros
We got a trailer for Game of Thrones: War for Westeros where Jon Snow was fighting the Night King, while Jamie Lannister played a cameo. It’s going to be a real-time strategy game that will also come out in 2026.
Atomic Heart 2
Keighly announced that Atomic Heart 2 is currently in development, and it uses Unreal Engine 5. No release date has been announced, though.
The Cube
The Cube is another game announced by Mundfish at the Summer Game Fest 2025, and it’s set in the Atomic Heart universe and will be an MMORPG shooter.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion
Marvel Cosmic Invasion has some new characters for us, featuring Rocket Raccoon and She-Hulk, and they will be joining Captain America and Venom.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
We got a new trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword from Capcom after a glimpse at June 4’s State of Play, and it’s set for a 2026 release.
Felt That Boxing
This one is a hilarious puppet boxing game that combines tactile, physics-driven puppet combat with slapstick flair and unexpected heart.
Killer Inn
A murder mystery action game, Killer Inn allows 24 players to team up, and a closed beta is right around the corner. Consider this a mixture of Among Us and Fortnite, and it sounds fun!
ARC Raiders
ARC Raiders finally has a release date – October 30, 2025. The game is made by Embark Studios (the same people behind The Finals), and it will be a third-person PVEvP extraction shooter.
Dune: Awakening
Dune: Awakening is coming out officially on June 10, but right now, it’s available to the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners. It’s an open-world multiplayer game, and the trailer showed gameplay and the world of Arrakis.
Chrono Odyssey
Chrono Odyssey trailer revealed the dates for closed beta, which is from June 20 at midnight PDT to June 22 at 11:59pm PDT, for NA, Europe, and Asia.
Wuthering Waves
A new version of Wuthering Waves has been revealed to be coming out on June 12, six days after the SGF.
Mio: Memories in Orbit
A metroidvania game, Mio: Memories in Orbit now has a demo available to play right away.
Out of Words
Mafia: The Old Country
We got the Mafia: The Old Country “Loyalty is Everything” story trailer, where we got to see more characters and gameplay footage.
Lego Voyagers
Lego Voyagers looks like a fun game, and is developed by the same people behind Lego: Builder’s Journey.
Nicktoons and the Dice of Destiny
Nicktoons and The Dice of Destiny is a real-time RPG action game, and brings iconic Nickelodeon heroes into an action-packed adventure with SpongeBob and more characters.
Lies of P: Overture
Lies of P has a brand-new DLC called Overture and is available to purchase at the time of writing.
Fractured Blooms
A farming simulator that’s also a horror game, and is inspired by a true story? Count me in!
Blade & Soul Neo
While Blade & Soul Neo has new heroes and a class, we are also getting Blade & Soul Heroes in September.
