Unlike most Roblox TD games the best trait in All Star Tower Defense X isn't the rarest one. At least not for all units since the best units all have at least a couple trait options that work really well on them depending on their role. Let's analyze all traits and find the best ones in this All Start Tower Defense X trait tier list and guide.

Best Traits in All Star Tower Defense X
All Star is quite strong but it isn't the best trait in All Star Tower Defense X for all units as you'll soon see. Some Secrets and other top-tier traits work much better without All Star. Below we'll dive into each trait separately to analyze its power, effects, and best unit combos. Briefly, here's a breakdown of what the Tiers mean:
- S-Tier: Powerful traits for most top-tier DPS units
- A-Tier: Great alternative options or strong traits for support units
- B-Tier: Traits with great potential without a current practical use
- C-Tier: Traits that can be good with certain units or beginner traits
- D-Tier: Negligible underpowered filler traits that you should reroll
S-Tier Traits

D-Tier Traits
All of these Traits are underpowered and act as filler for the Gacha system so just reroll them. If you're wondering what the Tank trait and Durability does in ASTDX, it essentially acts as resistance against enemy Stun effects on your unit. This can be pretty useful but overall you're better off with a DPS trait from A or S than this defensive boost.
How to Get Traits in ASTDX
If you're a beginner, here's how to get traits on your units in ASTDX:
- Tap Warp on the left of your UI.
- Scroll down the Warp list and select Robot (The station is located in the Summon area).
- Talk to the Robot and select the Trait Reroll option.
- Click on the empty square to select a unit you want to give a trait to.
- Each Trait Reroll costs 1 Trait Burner (Check out how to farm them below).
How to Farm Trait Rerolls in ASTDX
Here are all farming methods for getting tons of Trait Burners in All Star Tower Defense X ranked best to worst:
- Codes: Our ASTDX codes will give you tons of Trait Burners.
- Level Rewards: These give you Trait Burners only once but you can get a total of 235 of them.
- Gambling: Trait Burners Royal Drops 11% for 50 gems. Take note that this is risky and I don't recommend doing it unless you have all or most of the units you want.
- Dungeons: These open every four and a half hours for only 30 minutes but get you a decent amount of Trait Rerolls.
- Challenges: There's a 30% chance to drop a Trait Burner.
- Infinite: You can get them via Void Bags from the Infinite mode.
- Trial Shop: You can get a total of 50 Trait Rerolls in the Trial Shop but note that it's a very long grind (5 Etri coins for 1 Trait Burner).
- PVP shop: Similar to Trials with a total of 50 possible Trait Burners but it's an even harder grind (2 PVP coins for 1 Trait Burner).
