The Shop in Megabonk allows you to get some hefty buffs, but to do so, you'll have to unlock them.
Once you unlock items in the Shop, you can purchase them with Silver. The unlocks are permanent and apply across every run. Not only can you unlock and buy new items in the Shop, but all of them are also upgradeable.

How to unlock every Shop item in the game
The process begins by unlocking the Shop. This is an easy task and happens when you complete at least one quest. There are 236 quests inside the game, and any one of them will do.
Unlocking the remaining shop items is hidden by completing more quests.
- Silver: Clear tier 1 on any map for once.
- Refresh: Complete 20 quests
- Weapon Slots: Complete 25 quests
- Skip: Complete 30 quests
- Tome Slots: Complete 35 quests
- Boombox: Find and activate all the boomboxes in the Forest.
- Toggler: Purchase 40 unlocks (complete different quests, then spend the applicable Silver to purchase the unlocks).
Out of all seven unlocks, Boombox is the only one with a specific task to complete. Finding all the Boomboxes can take some time, but you'll be able to complete it over time. The remaining items are all unlocked when you complete the required quests.
Once done, you can spend more Silver to upgrade the effects. This will amplify their in-game effects and raise your chances of going deeper on a run. I would prioritize getting more weapon and tome slots, as they're almost necessary on tier 2 difficulty and above. More importantly, all shop upgrades are permanent, and they will apply across all your runs.
