Nicola Sturgeon will deliver an update on the state of the coronavirus pandemic in Scotland at Holyrood tomorrow.
The First Minister has been urged to bring Scotland in line with the rest of the UK by finally lifting the rule requiring face masks to be worn in indoor public spaces.
But there are fears over a growing number of Covid infections in Scotland.
The latest Office for National Statistics (ONS) data has estimated that around one in 11 people had the virus in Scotland in the week ending March 19.
Some opposition politicians have even called for all remaining Covid restrictions to be lifted in Scotland.

Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross said: “Nicola Sturgeon must give up control over people's lives and ditch Covid rules tomorrow.
"She can’t use the higher case rates that she has completely failed to reduce as an excuse to delay or backtrack on lifting the remaining restrictions.
"We have now been living under some form of legal Covid restrictions for over two years. Nicola Sturgeon must now start to trust the Scottish public to keep themselves safe.”
Here is a reminder of the current Covid rules and regulations that remain in place ahead of Nicola Sturgeon’s announcement tomorrow.

Face masks
Scots are required by law to wear a face covering on public transport and inside most indoor public spaces under the rules currently in place.
This includes moving around in pubs, visiting indoor tourist attractions, browsing shops and supermarkets, among others.
Testing
Anyone with symptoms of Covid is required to self-isolate and book a test as soon as possible. Scots should remain in their chosen place of quarantine until they receive their result - further advice will be given if the test comes back positive.
The Scottish Government is still recommending that all Scots take a lateral flow test twice a week, while calling for additional testing before visiting someone vulnerable or going to a crowded place.
If you receive a positive lateral flow test result, then you must report the result online and self-isolate immediately.
Testing for Covid in Scotland is expected to be scaled back from next month.
Self-isolation
Scots should self-isolate immediately following a positive test - with 10 days beginning from the day your symptoms first started.
If you have no symptoms of the virus, then you should self-isolate for 10 days from the date of your test.
There is the chance to leave isolation early under certain circumstances.
If you give two negative lateral flow test results in a row from day six onwards, taken 24 hours apart, then you will be allowed to end your period of quarantine.
