All of the Titans’ 2019 draft picks are now under contract

The Tennessee Titans headed into minicamp without every one of their 2019 NFL Draft picks under contract.

That changed this week, as the team sealed the deal with wide receiver A.J. Brown.

Earlier in the offseason, the Titans came to terms with draft picks Jeffery Simmons, Nate Davis, Amani Hooker, D’Andre Walker and David Long Jr.

The second-rounder out of Ole Miss is expected to make an immediate impact for the team, as he had a prolific college career with the Rebels.

He did pull up on a route in one last week’s practices and suffered an apparent hamstring injury, but this doesn’t look like it will have any impact on him as the Titans move closer to the season.

He currently holds the school’s all-time receiving record with 2,984 yards, boasts the most 100-yard receiving games in school history, and is the only Rebel to ever record 60 or more catches in two consecutive seasons.

On his final and best year with the team, he racked up 85 receptions for 1,320 yards and six touchdowns. Over three seasons, he tallied 189 catches for 2,984 yards and 19 scores.

If Brown can carry this type of momentum into Tennessee, he’s sure to instantly become a key piece of the offense and one of quarterback Marcus Mariota’s favorite targets.
