All Nottingham road closures and changes announced for 10k race route

Traffic will be affected in a city area due to a race across town. The route, designed to facilitate a 10km race, will take place across the University of Nottingham campus area.

The race is due to start on Sunday, May 22. Runners looking to participate in the race will gather at the start line at 9.30am, at the university.

They will run past the sights of Highfield Park Boating Lake and Wollaton Park. Traffic on a couple of streets in the area will be affected.

Part of the East Drive will be shut to drivers from 8.30am to 10am on Sunday. The street will be closed from University Boulevard to Lakeside Arts Oval Car Park.

Traffic on Science Road will also be affected as a result. The street will be closed between East Drive and MRC Institute of Hearing Research between the same hours.

Jubilee Avenue will be closed from Beeston Lane to Cut Through Lane. Traffic will be affected from 08.30am to 10.45am.

A number of car parks will also be affected. Parking suspensions will be in place at Lenton Hall Drive, Jubilee Avenue and University of Nottingham car parks.
