All Nippon Airway's Paris office manager got drunk on board, injured female passenger

All Nippon Airways Co. announced Friday that a male employee who was a manager in its Paris office resigned the same day after being reprimanded for his misbehavior, which caused minor injury to a female passenger on board a flight. According to the company, the incident happened on Wednesday morning Japan time during an All Nippon Airways' flight from Paris to Haneda Airport.

The 52-year-old manager was on a business trip to Tokyo and had had around six glasses of wine when the incident occurred. The woman in her fifties, who was injured on the neck, was sitting next to him in a business class seat. Considering the incident, ANA Group decided to ban the employees of group companies from drinking alcohol on the group's related flights and in airport lounges.

Regarding details of the incident, a company official explained, "We cannot give further details as the police investigation is continuing."
