'All Millwall aren't we?' Leeds United fans celebrate latest twist in promotion race

In a season packed full of twists, turns and late drama, Leeds United fans were left saluting their old foes Millwall on Saturday afternoon.

With Marcelo Bielsa's side in action in the late game at Elland Road where they hosted Sheffield Wednesday, all eyes were on the score from Bramall Lane, where Sheffield United were playing Millwall.

The Blades began the day a point behind Leeds in third place and it looked liked they were going to take care of business when Gary Madine struck in the 51st minute to give them the lead after they had got over an early injury to Chris Basham.

But the relegation-threatened Lions did not roll over, winning a penalty in the 85th minute, only for Ben Marhsall to see his effort saved by Dean Henderson.

Just as Leeds fans began to curse Neil Harris' side, Jake Cooper popped up with a 94th minute equaliser to delight Leeds supporters, with a roar going up around Elland Road as fans began to arrive in the stadium.
