Now that the college football season, it’s time to take a look at some betting odds for Mark Dantonio’s Michigan State Spartans Football team. After a pretty mediocre year, the odds are not in their favor, but hey! That’s great news if you think Brian Lewerke is about to lead this Spartans team to a national title!!! WOOO GO GREEN!!!! (I do not recommend this, but it’s your money).
FanDuel has the Spartans at +6500 (don’t ask me what this means, I have no clue) which is good for 14th nationally.
Bovada has Michigan State at +15000 (again, no clue what this means, do with it as you will) which is good for 21st overall.
Superbook USA did not have the Spartans listed in their top-27.
Fanduel, BetOnline and Bovada all have Michigan State’s over/under set at 7.5 wins. MyBookie has them at 7.
Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports advised his readers to bet the under on 7.5 wins for MSU. Here is what he said:
“When it comes to figuring out whether the Spartans will win eight games or not, a lot of it depends on what the offense does. It’s almost hard to imagine it doing worse in 2019, but realistically, how much better can it get with its personnel? I think this team almost certainly gets to seven wins, but eight seems like a bridge too far, especially when considering Sparty has to play Ohio State, Michigan, Northwestern and Wisconsin all on the road.”
If you think Tom Fornelli is dead wrong, drop a few dollars on Sparty because the payout will be high.
