All-Ireland Hurling Champions Tipperary make traditional trip to Crumlin Children's Hospital

All-Ireland champions Tipperary brought the Liam McCarthy Cup to Crumlin Children's Hospital for a special visit this morning.

The annual tradition of All-Ireland winners visiting hospitals the morning after the decider continued.

Returning supremo Liam Sheedy, captain Seamus Callanan and players met with patients in the heartwarming snaps.

There were lovely scenes as players signed autographs for fans outside the hospital and even met patients who were Tipperary fans such as Shauna Burns and Holly Carroll.

And thousands of Tipperary fans are expected at a Semple Stadium homecoming this evening to celebrate the Premier County's dominant win over the Cats at Croke Park.

Proceedings are due to officially kick off at 4 pm in the Dome beside Semple Stadium in Thurles, but the party will get started much earlier than that as the team leave Dublin.
