All hail King Danny Dyer! EastEnders star discovers MORE royal relatives

Danny Dyer should swap the Queen Vic for Buckingham Palace – or even the Palace of Versailles – after his “right nutty royal caper” with the BBC unearthed more regal relatives.

The EastEnders hardman previously discovered he is descended from King Edward III on an episode of Who Do You Think You Are? – and now it’s been revealed he shares a family tree with Louis IX of France.

Dyer was made aware of the revelation while filming upcoming history series Danny Dyer’s Right Royal Family.

“One royal link was unbelievable but finding another was more than anyone could have imagined – including him,” a source told The Sun. “Suffice to say it quickly went to his head and he thinks he’s genuinely part of the aristocracy now.”

Dyer hopped across the channel for a day to live like the French King, who was also known as Saint Louis. The royal, who built the Sainte-Chapelle, was also believed to have mutilated the mouths of those who were blasphemous.

Dyer’s new BBC series, which airs on January 23, will see him explore 800 years of history by living life like his ancestors.

He will learn to hunt, eat sheep’s tongue like a Viking and wear a ruff for an Elizabethan banquet, as well as being joined by his family, including his daughter and Love Island star Dani Dyer.

Speaking about his time on the show, Danny said: “I’m still in shock at the fact that I’m related to such important people. I’ve had a ball getting to know them. It was a nutty experience.”

Danny previously made a play for Buckingham Palace after learning of his royal lineage.

“If I iron out about 150 people, yeah I’ll be f****** King,” he said on an episode of Celebrity Juice.

“If Trump can run America I can be f****** King surely?”
