All game modes in THE FINALS

THE FINALS brings map destruction and good times with its intense FPS style, and it’s got plenty of game modes to dive into alongside it. There are various gameshow-themed experiences to try, regardless of how competitive you are.

Here are all the game modes in THE FINALS as of Season 9.

In THE FINALS, everything is happening inside the World Tour. It’s a seasonal roadmap, featuring events, limited-time modes, new rules, and more. Regardless of the mode you play, you accumulate World Tour points to earn exclusive rewards throughout the season.

Cashout

Cashout is the main mode of THE FINALS. It’s a multi-stage tournament where four teams of three deliver Cashboxes to Cashout Stations, with the goal of earning as much cash as possible. Defend your Cashouts or steal the opponents’ – anything works as long as you can qualify for the next stage.

During the two knockout rounds, the top two teams qualify for the next stage. The final round features only two teams, with the first one to reach $50,000 cash winning the entire tournament.

Ranked Cashout

Ranked Cashout is a high-stakes, competitive version of Cashout. It follows the same format but restricts in-round item swapping from the Reserve loadout, as well as introduces cash penalties if your team gets wiped.

In the Ranked Cashout, you match with players of a similar skill level, determined by rank. The better you play, the higher your rank and the more rewards you can unlock for playing these tournaments.

Quickplay

Quickplay is the go-to destination for casual gameplay. The modes in this playlist rotate from season to season, so not all of them might be available. Below, you can find a list of all Quickplay modes in THE FINALS, including those out of rotation.

season nine rotation:

As of Season 9, the Quickplay playlist featured Quick Cash, Point Break, Power Shift, Team Deathmatch, and Head2Head.

Quick Cash

Quick Cash is similar to the regular Cashout, except it’s limited to only one round. Fight over vaults to earn as much cash as possible. Reach the target goal or have the most cash when the time expires to win the game. This game mode has no restrictions, just pure action and fame.

Point Break

Point Break is a larger mode, where two teams of eight fight over objectives in a sector. It’s very similar to Rush from Battlefield – the attackers have limited revives and need to capture all sectors to win, while the defenders must stop them. It’s chaotic, yet you can still play strategically and experiment with different loaduts.

Power Shift

In Power Shift, two teams of five battle over one moving platform. It’s basically a tug-of-war, with one team pulling the platform to their side by standing on it while the enemy team tries to reclaim it. The winner is the team that brings the platform to its destination or progresses the furthest by the end of the time limit.

Team Deathmatch

Perfect for a warm-up before jumping into the World Tour, Team Deathmatch has only one ultimate goal—getting kills. Two teams of five fight on smaller maps to get 30 kills. It’s a best-of-three rounds mode, so even if you lose the first, there’s an opportunity for you to come back.

Head2Head

Head2Head is meant to simulate the final round of a Cashout match, where two teams of three go head-to-head to hit $50,000. The Quickplay version is more casual than the actual Cashout match, with faster and unlimited respawns.

Terminal Attack

Terminal Attack might look familiar if you’re an experienced FPS player. Two teams of five players, attackers and defenders, fight over a Terminal in a round-based match with no respawns. Attackers must deliver the Decryption Key to the Terminal and take control of it, while the defenders must prevent them at all costs.

The game mode is similar to what you can see in competitive FPS games, like CS2 and VALORANT, but with THE FINALS‘ twist of unending destruction.

Bank It

For more mindless shooting, there’s Bank It. Four teams of three earn cash by securing vaults and eliminating other players. Collect the coins and cash them out until you reach the required amount to win.

While it sounds similar to Quick Cash, you don’t have to focus on holding objectives. Cashing out is as simple as interacting with the cashout for three to four seconds. Target vaults, players carrying lots of cash, or shoot anything that moves. The choice is yours.
