Skins, called Costumes in Marvel Rivals, come in various forms, with new creations that have debuted in the game to iconic looks from Marvel’s illustrious history of comics and designs straight from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

All free Marvel Rivals Skins
Plenty of Marvel Rivals Costumes are available for free through various means, although some will require a subscription to other services. We expect more to be added over time, so keep checking back to this list to make sure you’re not missing out!
Some Costumes were exclusive to participants in the Closed Alpha and Closed Beta sessions, so you can’t claim them anymore, while the Squirrel Girl: Urban Hunter is free to PS Plus subscribers, but you can purchase it on other platforms with in-game currency.
Thor- Worthy Waves
While Thor has multiple free cosmetics, this one definitely stands out from the rest due to the sheer goofy nature of it. Thor is out on a beach with this froggy hammer and it makes a unique sound each time you hit an enemy with it, making it a must-have cosmetic for the players.
Storm – Symbiote
Storm has a few skins in Marvel Rivals, but none of them alter her face. The Symbiote cosmetic throws that notion out of the window and gives her a spooky look with a daunting red cape. Complete the event missions, and you’ll unlock the free skin in no time.
Rocket Raccoon – Symbiote Raccoon
Rocket Raccoon comes with a Symbiote look, inspired by Klyntar. It is dark, gritty, and unapologetically monochrome. If you want a support hero skin without any fluff, consider grinding your battle pass and get this as a free reward.
Groot- Symbiote Flora
Another battle pass skin completely transforms the Groot we know and adds dark effects to all of these abilities. If you want a dark, menacing tank that strikes fear in the hearts of the enemy, this skin is a no-brainer to add to your inventory.
Hawkeye- Will of Galacta
Along with a Spray, Nameplate, and Emote, you can also get your hands on the Hawkeye Will of Galacta cosmetic by watching your favorite streamers on Twitch. These change every season, so make sure to redeem them before they expire.
Squirrel Girl – Urban Hunter
Another PlayStation Plus-exclusive free skin, you can buy this on other platforms in the store.
Spider-Man – Scarlet Spider
Have you ever met Kaine Parker? Now you have. In this skin, which is PlayStation Plus-exclusive, he uses the Scarlet Spider moniker, after Ben Reilly before him.
Star-Lord – Jovial Star
You can earn this free skin by completing in-game achievements, with the Jovial Star outfit unlocking once you have secured 400 points in the Heroic Journey section.
Storm – Ivory Breeze
Storm’s white outfit can also be found within the Heroic Journey achievements, unlocking once 200 points in the section have been earned.

How to get free Skins in Marvel Rivals
The method of claiming free Costumes in Marvel Rivals varies depending on the reward. For example, the Spider-Man Scarlet Spider Costume will be automatically granted to you when you first log in on PlayStation, while you need to claim the Storm Ivory Breeze and Star-Lord Jovial Star Costumes in-game once you have met the requirements. Additionally, you
If you are a returning player from the Closed Alpha or Closed Beta Test, the Venom Cyan Slash and/or Scarlet Witch Moonlit Witch Costumes should be immediately available in your account. As there is no cross-progression, you won’t be able to claim this reward on a different platform yet.
As a result, the Scarlet Witch Moonlit Witch Costume is currently PC exclusive, as the Closed Alpha Test was limited to just PC players. It may be possible to get this skin on consoles at a later date if cross-progression gets added, though only if you already have the reward on PC.
