Fortnitemares are upon us in Fortnite, and scary beings are spawning as bosses on the island from your favorite franchises. These bosses can be nasty to face in combat, but taking them down gives you an edge in your battles to get the spooky victory royale.
How to find and defeat Fortnitemares 2025 bosses
Fortnitemares 2025 features three tough bosses to hunt down, each packing their own signature weapon and special loot for anyone bold enough to take them out. Here is a list of these bosses and where to find them in Fortnite.
Carver Ultima
Coming back from last year’s Fortnitemares, Carver Ultima is back, and he spawns in the Pumpkin Pass bridge on the southwest corner of the map. He carries a woodstake shotgun and a pumpkin launcher. If you engage with him in close quarters, he’ll shoot you with his shotgun, but if you hit him from a distance, then he’ll hit you with a rocket launcher. These rockets are fairly easy to dodge due to the bright red color, so choose an assault rifle or SMG and aim for the head to take the boss down.
Unlike other bosses, he doesn’t drop any mythic weapons but drops a legendary pumpkin launcher to wreak havoc on the enemies.
Jason Voorhees
Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise just walks around in the Creepy Camps point of interest, and it’s fairly easy to find him there. Once it finds you or you start shooting it, it doesn’t hit you back and just walks menacingly toward you. It has the highest HP among all the bosses, so you’ll need all the firepower and bullets you can get. The way to defeat him is by kiting him while he closes the distance with you. He only attacks once he is close enough to you, so just kite him until you take him down to take his loot.
Doja Cat
The Mother of Thrones spawns east to the Supernova Academy, where she sits on a throne. Like Carver Ultima, she uses the woodstake shotgun for close combat and the Thorn Ripper item to whip enemies. She deals very high damage, so you’ll need to heal during the battle behind cover to take her down. She can also pull you toward her and switch to her shotgun, making sure to avoid getting pulled by the weapon to defeat her. Once you take her down, you’ll get her loot and revive her to join your side for the rest of the match.
All Fortnitemares 2025 boss mythic weapon rewards
Jason Voorhees drops a mythic High Stakes shotgun, arguably the best shotgun in the game. While Doja Cat drops her mythic Thorn Ripper, which can melt enemies in medium range while also being able to pull enemies to her from a distance to take the fight on her terms.
Lastly, you can also become Ghost Face with the Last Call mythic item, but you don’t need to defeat any boss for that. You can enter the Stalkbooth and leave the booth with the mythic item, which allows you to stab your enemies and even call them.
