Tottenham will try to bring Adama Traore to the club in the final few days of the summer transfer window, football.london understands.
The Wolves winger, who was managed by Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo at Molineux for around three years, is subject of interest from his former coach.
Traore is in the final two years of his contract with the Midlands-based club and has been heavily linked with a move away this summer.
The Spain international is someone who excites supporters all around the world, with his directness, also matched by his speed and power, making it near impossible to defend against.
However, the 25-year-old, while being a very exciting player, has often been criticised by his lack of end product in front of goal.
Now, with the newly-discovered interest in the Wolves star, Tottenham supporters have taken to Twitter to express their views.

According to Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Traore is 'one of the main names on Tottenham's list' in the last few days of the summer transfer window. 'Direct talks' are said to be ongoing, with all parties involved in the negotiations, and Spurs are 'preparing a new bid'.
Noni Madueke, formerly of Tottenham's academy, is also thought to be of interest to the north London club, but Traore looks the more likely of the deals.
Traore impressed for Wolves in Tottenham's 1-0 win at Molineux on Sunday afternoon and Espirito Santo, when speaking to the media after the clash, spoke about his former winger's display on the day.
The Spurs manager said: "I think Wolves have a very good team and created us enormous problems, big big problems.
"One of those was Adama. Everyone knows Adama is unique and he's very hard to stop."
