All female Irish collaboration releases new music video

A collaboration of female Irish artists released a new song and music video as part of the Three Made By Music initiative.

The project brought together pop artist Soule, electro-producer Elaine Mai, and singer songwriter Sorcha Richardson creating the unique hit 'Butterflies'.

The song brings together the sounds and talents of each artist and was written and recorded in Diffusion Lab, Dublin.

The music video, above, was directed by London based director Ali Kurr and 'explores human connections' to the track's beat.

The artists said the song is about "falling in love" and perfectly blends each of their styles.

They said: "It was so exciting to have the opportunity to collaborate on a project like this.

"We made 'Butterflies' in a studio in the heart of Dublin city, after a couple of days writing together and sharing ideas.

"It's a song about falling in love and feels like the perfect meeting place between each of our different styles and tastes as artists and writers.

"We're really proud of the song and so excited to see it released into the world."

Three Ireland spokesperson, Aislinn O'Connor, said: "We are so excited to release the second track in our 'Made By Music' initiative.

"Butterflies not only showcases the incredible connection musicians can make when brought together but also celebrates the amazing female artists within our music industry.

"'Made By Music' has always strived to showcase the strength and diversity the Irish music scene has to offer and we look forward to seeing the release of the next phase in this year's initiative."

Three's Made By Music project aims to give Ireland's music scene a unique opportunity to reach wider audiences.

The first collaboration brought Irish artist David Kitt, singer-songwriter Kean Kavanagh and future-afro soul vocalist Fedrah together to create 'Follow the Sound'.

The song has reached over 50,000 streams on Spotify and thousands of views on YouTube.

The latest song from the project, 'Butterflies', is available now across all streaming platforms.
