New Zealand-born, Brussels-based artist Kate McIntosh puts together a multifaceted music, storytelling and sound event. With her powerful narration, she weaves together parables and unexpected jokes.
She discusses human and animal behaviour, crowd control and linguistics, politics and group dynamics, birds and traffic jams, societies, social interactions and all of the silences in between.
The room becomes an improvised laboratory for unusual recordings and acoustic experiments, using everyday objects and materials. With her lucidity and off-beat humour, she balances experiment and entertainment.
