EA FC 27 Standard vs Ultimate vs Ultimate Plus Editions
Standard Editions rewards
The EA FC 27 Standard Edition still comes with a solid list of preorder bonuses, especially for those who want value without paying for the premium editions. EA includes Dual Entitlement, so eligible PlayStation and Xbox buyers can upgrade across console generations at no extra cost.
You also get an untradeable 92+ OVR ICON Player Item in FC 26, The Grounds Signature Sweatsuit, a temporary Mbappe-themed stat boost, double AXP consumables for 10 matches, preorder Challenges, three ICONs or Heroes, a 5-star coach, and a 5-star youth scout.
Ultimate Edition rewards
The Ultimate Edition is aimed at regulars, those who want to start strong in Ultimate Team and Career Mode. This edition includes up to seven days of early access beginning Sept. 18, plus 6,000 FC Points delivered in three monthly drops.
It also adds an untradeable 85+ OVR International ICON Player Item, an extra FUT Player Evolution Slot, a 93+ OVR ICON Player Pick for FC 26, a Dynamic OVR pre-season boost, a five-star senior scout, five extra Manager Live Challenge Creation slots, and Premium Pass Season 1.
Ultimate Plus Edition rewards
The Ultimate Plus Edition is EA’s limited-time preorder offer, available only until Aug. 31. Bundling the biggest bonus, it includes everything in the Ultimate Edition, but upgrades the FC Points reward to 10,000 across five monthly drops instead of 6,000.
It also adds the Hall of FUT Player Pick, Seasons 1-5 Premium Passes, and the EA FC 26 Physical Evo that boosts a player’s physical attributes to 99.
Which EA Sports FC 27 edition should you buy?
If you’re a casual player, the Standard Edition makes the most sense. It gets you the base game and a few useful bonuses for Career Mode and Clubs. It’s also the cheapest route, priced at $69.99.
The Ultimate Edition is better for all the season regulars. Early access and FC Points give you a stronger starting setup for your Ultimate Team. The Ultimate Plus Edition is for buyers who want the full preorder stack and don’t mind committing before the limited-time cutoff.
