Like its FC 25 counterpart, EA FC 26‘s Fantasy FC promo cards will be eligible for multiple upgrades based on their individual and collective achievements in real-life competitions.
But given how the upgrades this time are substantial to say the least, having a grip of what your finds or investments are set to get is crucial, even more so if you plan on diving into the fluctuating market. Here’s a full overview of all Fantasy FC upgrades in EA FC 26.
EA FC 26 Fantasy FC Upgrade Path, Explained
Although EA has yet to officially disclose the upgrade paths, known leaker FUT POLICE LEAKS took on X to reveal most of the upgrades the upcoming Fantasy FC players will be able to receive in FC 26, as well as how both attackers and defenders can unlock each of them.
According to the leak, apart from a still unknown final upgrade, players can get a +1 OVR, ++ roles for all positions, a random 99 Face Stat (PAC, SHO, PAS, DRI, DEF, or PHY), a few extra PlayStyles (which includes a second PS+ if eligible), and a 5-star increase to either WF or SM. You can check below how each of the above can be unlocked. The leaker also suspects that midfielders have the same requirements as attackers.
All EA FC 26 Fantasy FC Attacker Upgrades
- If the player’s club gets 6 League points within a set four-match period: +1 OVR and ++ Roles For All Positions
- If the club scores 10 goals within a set four-match period: +99 To One Face Stat
- If the player scores or gets an assist during a four-match period: 1x PlayStyle+ and 1x PlayStyle / 2x Regular PlayStyles if the player already has a PS+ duo.
- If the player makes at least six attacking contributions: 5-star WF or SM upgrade
- If the player’s team wins either the league or gets a cup trophy: To be Revealed
All EA FC 26 Fantasy FC Defender Upgrades
- If the player’s club gets 6 League points within a set four-match period: +1 OVR and ++ Roles For All Positions
- If the club scores 10 goals within a set four-match period: +99 To One Face Stat
- If the club gets one clean sheet within a set four-match period: 1x PlayStyle+ and 1x PlayStyle / 2x Regular PlayStyles if the player already has a PS+ duo.
- If the player makes at least six defending contributions within a four-game period: 5-star WF or SM upgrade
- If the player’s team wins either the league or gets a cup trophy: To be Revealed
Remember, like with UCL Primetime earlier in the game’s cycle, all Fantasy FC Heroes will also be able to get the above upgrades. The clubs they are bound to represent, though, are still a mystery.
