Together with a series of welcome changes following the mixed reception of 25, EA FC 26 is also expected to introduce a new class of Icons to players, featuring both recently retired faces and long-awaited legends.
But who are these new Icons exactly? And are all of the current ones returning? Here are all of the Icons either confirmed or leaked to be featured on EA FC 26 at release.
All EA FC 26 Confirmed Icons
As revealed on both the game’s covers and official trailer, the myth Zlatan Ibrahimović and USWNT legend Alex Morgan are the only new icons confirmed to debut in EA FC 26. We can also assume that all members of the FC 25 selection will be returning, with Ronaldo (R9) having already been confirmed via the game’s official store. All FC 26 Leaked Icons
Even if no new names have been confirmed, known leaker ASY FUT revealed in late July a list of 12 icons being tested to debut in EA FC 26. As you can see below, the list includes the already confirmed duo of Ibrahimović and Morgan, as well as a few other players who retired recently, like the Real Madrid duo of Marcelo and Toni Kroos. Andres Iniesta, by many, the best midfielder to ever don both the Spanish National and Barcelona kits, can also be found here.

Although not featured in the list above, both Brazil’s World Cup-winning captain Dunga and Arjen Robben have also been rumored to debut as icons.
How To Get A Guaranteed Icon In EA FC 26
You can get a guaranteed 1 out of 15 EA FC 26 Icon pick on launch day by pre-ordering the game’s Ultimate Edition until August 26, 2025. The Icons in question have yet to be revealed, although the game’s store seems to confirm the presence of both Zlatan and his idol R9 among them. Your chosen Icon is also set to receive an upgrade via a post-release update.
