In preparation for its upcoming debut, EA just revealed the outlines of the first players confirmed to be part of FC 25‘s Futties Team 3 squad. But even if the presence of a certain Portuguese legend is easy to identify among them, is the full new lineup able to stand toe to toe with last week’s, which featured both Ronaldo and Messi?

Although the featured US player is heavily rumored to be Washington Spirit’s Trinity Rodman, a series of leaks by ASY FUT, Fut Scoreboard, and WetDesign have confirmed the hinted 99-OVR representatives to be Cristiano Ronaldo, Johan Cruyff, and Raphinha. The 98-OVR Icon has then been revealed to be Garrincha, with Franck Ribéry also set to receive a 98-rated card during the promo.

EA FC 25 Futtles Team 3 Release Date
True to the game’s release-style, EA FC 25’s Futties Team 3 is set to debut on July 25, 2025, at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EDT. Keep in mind, though, that like pretty much all promo squads released previously, the game might experience server issues in the hours following the update. If you are a newcomer, it’s also worth pointing out that no matter when you acquired them, all Gold Rare or above packs will have a probability of housing the new cards.
