How to get Dead Hand Collection skins in CS2

Like the Genesis collection skins before them, the Dead Hand Collection is a Terminal exclusive skin collection. This means that unlike traditional cases, players will have to unlock a Sealed Terminal and make a deal with the game’s weapon dealer to acquire these skins. The Sealed Terminals are part of CS2‘s rank-up rewards pool, and players have a chance to receive one by simply playing the game and earning XP.

Whenever you reach the next XP level, you’ll be given a choice to pick two out of four rewards, which includes skins, cases, graffitis, and most importantly Sealed Terminals. Then you can simply click on the terminal in your inventory, and you’ll be greeted by Booth, Counter-Strike’s resident arms dealer. The dealer will offer you five to six different options to purchase skins, each with a different price based on the skin’s rarity and condition. Keep in mind though, you can only choose to buy one skin from each Terminal, so make sure to wait for your favorite skins to pop up.

But what if your rank-up rewards simply doesn’t include a Sealed Terminal? Fret not, because this is where the Steam Community Market comes into play. Sealed Terminals, like any other container or skin, are tradeable on the market, as long as they haven’t been unlocked. This means that if you really want to take a crack at opening one of these Terminals, you can simply go to the Steam Market and purchase one. Though keep in mind that since the Terminals drop infrequently, they might cost a pretty penny. For certain skins, especially lower rarities, you’d be better off simply purchasing the skin outright instead.
